Takshashila academy

Takshashila was founded in 1998 with the name Allied Co-Ed.  From 2005 it operated under a new management.  Since January 2008 this school has been running as Takshashila Academy under the guidance of a new team of scholars and intellectuals, led by Prof. Dr. Jaya Raj Acharya.  With the new leadership and enthusiasm of the management team, we are confident that we will carry this institution up to new heights. 

• To develop the virtues of honesty, truthfulness, courage, cleanliness and thrift in the children,
• To develop the virtues of self-discipline, self-reliance, and self-confidence,
• To prepare the children for the 21st century in every possible sense, enabling them to grow with the knowledge of their immediate and global communities facing the social and environmental challenges,
• To promote partnership between pupils, parents and school in the education of our children, and
• To foster a warm and friendly atmosphere in the caring school community in which children's self esteem and respect for others can develop.
